In total four members of the Middleton Hunt were charged over the incident but were later cleared.

The video also showed a huntsman jumping off his horse and offering to fight a saboteur who was holding a bottle containing an unknown substance.The footage, which was posted on Facebook by West Yorkshire Hunt Saboteurs, showed other exchanges that included pleas for the saboteurs to leave the private land.
‘We then keep the case under constant review. In this instance we were provided with a quantity of new, relevant evidence on the day of the trial.‘We recognised there was insufficient time to consider this material fully so requested an adjournment which was not granted by the Judge.
