Lee Martinez Elementary School honors the legacy of the late Hilario "Lee" Juan Martinez, a beloved man in the community who served over two decades as a Hutto ISD school bus driver .

The school is set to open in Fall 2025 and is the first new school constructed as part of the $522 million 2023 Bond program to provide enrollment relief for Hutto ISD areas experiencing rapid growth. The campus will include innovative design elements and learning spaces for the youngest learners, including collaboration neighborhoods, exterior playscapes, and a combined gymnasium and multipurpose cafetorium. Plus, a second Little Hippos Child Development Center.
