Huw Edwards has pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children.
A journalist has recounted receiving "strange and flirty" messages from former BBC News presenter Huw Edwards.
Most of these images, specifically 36, were exchanged over a two-month span. Edwards is now facing charges for possessing seven Category A images the most severe along with 12 Category B and 22 Category C indecent images of children. According to Sam, shortly after he followed Edwards on the platform, he was pleasantly surprised to be followed back, a gesture that thrilled him coming from "perhaps the most famous news anchor in Britain". Edwards reportedly messaged Sam just "seconds later".
Sam responded: "Haha, thanks for the follow, Huw! Big fan of your work" alongside a thumbs up emoji. It's reported that Edwards reacted to Sam's message with a thumbs up emoji and added: "Thanks, Sam. Keep in touch. H."
