The i30N Santa Fe , Kona N , i30N Sedan and Sonata N-Line vehicles sold between 2020 and 2022 are being recalled, Hyundai Australia said.Hyundai Australia is recalling some models of the Santa Fe over a software glitch. "Due to a programming issue, the "fail-safe" driving mode may not respond as intended when certain transmission faults are detected," the Department of Transport said.

"Under certain driving conditions the vehicle fail-safe mode may activate resulting in reduced acceleration followed by a loss of motive power."Owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Hyundai dealer to have the work carried out as soon as possible at no cost.
