It was praised as a 'much loved' venue in a beautiful location curiously
Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter regularly stuns visitors to the city with its beauty - and now a restaurant there has achieved national recognition.
This came after it was recommended by the ECHO as part of our insider’s guide to food and drink. I knew of its reputation for Italian dishes, but far less so for its breakfast offering, so I decided to see if it lived up to the hype.Falkner Street never disappoints on a sunny day, with the beautifully preserved period houses looking radiant. As per The Guardian’s recommendation, I grabbed a table outside for a bit of al fresco dining.
A sweet option isn’t my go-to choice for breakfasts, but on this occasion I was delighted I’d done something a little different. The two large pancakes were topped with the refreshing taste of strawberries and blueberries. I wisely gave the Breakfast Mimosa a miss, but I’m sure that would be a slightly more exciting option than my apple juice. If I visited The Quarter again in the evening, I wouldn’t mind trying out the locally brewed Baltic Pale Ale too.
