EXCLUSIVE: 'I buried my mum... then two weeks later doctors told me I had breast cancer too'
The former primary school teacher says: “I didn’t want to be coming back and doing this again in however many years., and thought it was incredible.
Emma says: “I was heartbroken but Mum kept saying, ‘We’ll get through it - just like we did last time.’ But doctors gave Mum nine months to live.for September and knew it would be our last trip together.” “When we were back, and while I was waiting for the appointment, Mum ended up in a hospice. I was so busy with her I didn’t realise I’d missed the appointment until my doctor called to follow up.”
