As Sol de Janeiro launches a new Cheirosa 76 mist, our head of shopping Zoe compares the top mists to the pricier designer perfumes they've been likened to
I'm a perfume girl, so it's taken me a little while to get on board with the body spray hype. If, like me, you were a teen growing up in the early noughties, you'll have vivid memories of pungent mists like So...? and Impulse – no hate, but they do take me back to the school locker room – however, I've been reliably informed by social media that sprays these days are much more sophisticated.
Verdict: I saw the After Hours Limited Edition mist come up on my TikTok earlier in the year and immediately made a note to find it in Boots As luck would have it, I managed to get my hands on one before it quickly went out of stock, never to return. Or so I thought. Packed with sweet and nutty notes of pistachio, vanilla and salted caramel, it's perfect for those looking to tap into the 'vanilla girl aesthetic'. Because of the notes of vanilla, it could be compared to Kayali's vanilla perfume, which combines similarly sweet hits of vanilla, brown sugar and Brazilian tonka. Personally, I love it because I'm a vanilla wearer.
