For a long time, I loved it and with my boyfriend – now husband – I exploited everything it had to offer, from hung-over walks in Richmond Park, to the bars of Soho, to the more child-friendly experiences, such as London Zoo, when we had our sons, now aged seven and 10.While my friends were posting on social media about their amazing rural and village communities, deliveries from local shops and how supportive everyone was being, we barely saw another person.
