Wallabies coach Eddie Jones insists he has no regrets about telling the media to “give yourselves upper cuts” during a fiery press conference before heading to France for the Rugby World Cup.

The 63-year-old has endured a rocky start to his second stint as the Wallabies mentor losing all five games in 2023 leaving fans with low expectations heading into the World Cup.

Picture: Mark Metcalfe/Getty Images The Wallabies media manager then attempted to wrap the press conference up letting the journalists know there would only be a couple more questions but Jones interjected.Then, when a reporter tried to ask another question, Jones repeatedly interrupted saying: “Keep going, keep going, keep going."

The reporter asked about the Akubra hats the travelling party were wearing but Jones’ fuse was burnt out and he went on the offensive.The reporter replied: “I just didn’t want to assume without knowing.”
