If you like prosecco this tastes even better.""This is a semi-dry cremant. it tastes nice but if you like dry then this is not for you. for people who like a bit of sweet in their sparkling wine this might be ok," said another.
Lees ageing is a big part of the traditional method, in essence it gives the wine bakery notes such as brioche, pastry and dough which are associated with champagne. Champagne must be aged on lees for slightly longer than Crémant, but only by a few months.
