The calendar offers brushes, makeup sponges and beauty bag must-haves for less than £1 a pop
As a fashion and beauty writer here at the Manchester Evening News, it should come as no surprise that I'm obsessed with monthly beauty boxes, limited edition edits and luxury advent calendars. Trying out new products that I wouldn't otherwise purchase is always so fun and stumbling onto a new makeup bag must-have or new skincare shelf favourite is a fantastic feeling.
I know, it's a little bit gross but it's one of those things that I find so tedious and put off until I absolutely have to. That's why I rushed to order the Real Techniques Advent Calendar before it sold out. In total, there are seven brushes to be unveiled as well as four makeup sponges - which you can never have enough of. These sponges are a regular staple in my beauty routine. That's because it not only blend makeup smoothly and effortlessly, but it's also significantly cheaper than a Beautyblender.
There are so many beauty advent calendars on the market but this one is truly one of the best at the £25 price point. It also makes each makeup brush, sponge and accessory less than £1 a pop.
