Love Island star Emma-Jane Woodham has opened up on the "hate" she received after having sex on the show during her stint in the villa at just 19 years old.
Viewers were completely shocked at the time, and fans shared their thoughts on the pair's decision to go all the way in the villa, which left Emma fielding hate online. Beauty influencer Emma, meanwhile, had mistakenly assumed that producers wouldn't show her and Terry getting it on on-screen seven years ago.
“And obviously I appreciate the fact that it's a show at the end of the day and they're going to try and make it as exciting and entertaining as possible, but I think it is better now for the girls - and the guys - where that sort of thing is concerned, especially with some of them being quite young.”
Emma "regretted" her actions for a "long time", and she even regretted signing up to the show at all, as she couldn't feel anything but "sad" when she thought back on it.
