Kieran Hodgson, who plays Gordon in the comedy sitcom, admitted he was in a bit of limbo before he got a message informing him that he had an audition.Speaking onwith Crofty and Grado, who plays Alan in the series, Kieran said:"One day I get an e-mail saying 'I got you an audition for this programme called Two Doors Down' and I just put myself on a video late one night doing lots of funny faces and reacting to other people's weird lines.

"So basically someone whose name I've never found out was gonna be Gordon and was no longer, and I was in the right place at the right time as the second option.
