Shrewsbury Town new-boy Dom Gape can't wait to reignite his promotion-winning partnership with boss Gareth Ainsworth.
The midfielder went up from League Two and League One under Ainsworth during their time together at Wycombe Wanderers, reaching the Championship in 2020.
"I couldn't be happier," Gape told Shrewsbury Town's official website."I've worked with the staff here for a number of seasons in the past, they mentioned there might be an opportunity and I jumped at that with two hands. "I've got the utmost respect for the three of them . I know exactly what is expected and what the standards and non-negotiables are."
And he is determined to make a success of his return to League One, with Shrewsbury Town locked in a relegation battle.
