Kelly feared her weight would kill her, leaving her son behind
A woman completely changed her life after seeing an "embarrassing" photo of herself as the first in the queue at a buffet.
She told the ECHO: "I've been on every single diet going, I've lost weight before then I'd fall off the wagon and put it back on quickly. It got to the stage where I was 28st and 7Ibs and I started thinking 'what if I die and leave my son?' Kelly, who at the time had been suffering from high blood pressure, was at risk of diabetes and in a lot of physical pain because of her weight, recalled how the picture made her feel "embarrassed.""It's you who has been hiding from yourself. It was a real wakeup call and it made me realise that what the GP had been saying about my health risks was right."
