EXCLUSIVE: Self-taught Clean Queen Penny Moyses tells OK! how channelling Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch, and joining their cleaning community, turned her life around
As a mum to a 16 month old and a newborn, Penny Moyses felt like she was failing badly in so many areas. With her young children to look after and with work busier than ever, she found herself trapped in an exhausting battle between parenting and working - in danger of losing control of her home in the process.
But as I attempted to balance parenting my two children while also working from home in a pandemic, things started to slide. In between weaning attempts and nap times, I was taking video calls and meetings. It was like balancing two jobs, and that’s not even including the housework there was to do. Last year, we ended up having train strikes over the weekend but we've got such a loyal community that people were getting on buses at two o'clock in the morning to get there. On the Sunday afternoon, both Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon rocked up, which was really lovely. They attended as guests, just like anyone else.
