Barry McGuigan left I'm A Celebrity viewers in tears after he opened up about his daughter Danika
Barry McGuigan was visibly moved to tears in the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity as he found it difficult to speak about his late daughter. The emotional moment unfolded during a heart-to-heart with fellow campmates, but some viewers were left uncomfortable with Loose Women 's Jane Moore pressing him for more details, leading to criticism on social media.
Jane attempted to add context by mentioning, "Danika was poorly as a child as well. She had a double...", but Barry cut in: "She had leukaemia. When I was making the film with Daniel Day-Lewis, I had to leave because she had been diagnosed with leukaemia. They thought she wasn't going to get better, but she fought back."
Another expressed frustration, writing: "STOP BADGERING POOR BARRY MAN.", reports the Express. A third comment criticised Jane's approach: "Jane Moore not painting herself in good light this episode... first the Coleen story taking now setting Barry off poor from Moore #ImACeleb." The conversation soon shifted to the topic of Wayne Rooney's wife and her widely publicised 'Wagatha Christie' court case against Rebekah Vardy. However, viewers were quick to point out Jane "telling the story" on behalf of Coleen.
