Some of the I'm A Celebrity campmates have earned eye-watering amounts for their time spent on screen in the jungle – as OK! takes a look at who has banked the most
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has made a welcome return to screens with a brilliant batch of 2024 celebrities. The likes of Coleen Rooney , Jane Moore, GK Barry and Barry McGuigan have all set up home in the Australian jungle in the name of entertainment - and a pay cheque.
If she were to stick it out for the full three weeks , that would earn her an impressive £2,976 an hour. According to the BBC, when her husband Wayne Rooney signed his new £70m contract at Manchester United a decade ago, he was set to earn £1,785 every hour. But if she leaves on Day 18, for example, her rate would be £3,472 per hour.
Despite the jungle luring her back for a second time, Katie withdrew on Day 9, meaning she earned £2,083 per hour over those days. Richard Madeley Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley appeared on the 2021 series of I'm A Celeb, which took place in Wales. He took part in one bushtucker trial which saw him bring back four out of 10 stars, and he then had to leave the show early due to health concerns on Day 5.Caitlyn Jenner Caitlyn Jenner was the highest paid contestant on the 2019 series and she's also one of the highest earners of all time, having taken home £500,000 for her jungle stint.
Gemma Collins The GC took part in the 14th series in 2014, but withdrew after 72 hours in the jungle, waving goodbye to fellow campmates including Melanie Sykes and eventual winner Carl "Foggy" Fogarty.
