I’m a Celebrity’s John Barrowman has opened up about the hardest part of being on the show – and it’s not even the critters lurking about or the lack of food.
The Torchwood star, who reached the final alongside Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack and eventual winner, football manager‘The first four days are the hardest,’ the 52-year-old recalled. ‘You’re taken out of your isolation in your hotel rooms, anything that puts you in contact with the outside world is gone, like your phone.
‘You have a chaperone with you 24/7. When you go in, your first four days in camp, you’re having to get used to a whole new routine.’He added during a Bafta masterclass: ‘You’re pooping in a bucket. You’re showering in a waterfall in your underwear and you’re brushing your teeth while someone is going to the bathroom. You have to get over a lot of stuff immediately.’
