Sam Thompson is set to touch down in Australia ahead of the launch of the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday 17 November but first, he needed some medical assistance
Sam Thompson is sprinting to the doc for a little medical backup before his wild stint on I'm A Celebrity. The cheeky chap is gearing up to spill the beans and share laughs from Australia on I'm A Celebrity Unpacked. Yet, he's confessed that he's had to seek some doctor-prescribed assistance to handle the crazy filming schedule in Oz.
On his podcast Staying Relevant, just as he was about to jet off, Sam spilled the beans: "The timings are quite awkward because obviously we are live in UK time. So we go to bed at 4pm every day in Australia and wake up at midnight. Which is going to be wild.
Sam owned up to grabbing the pills "just in case" while Pete couldn't resist ribbing him more: "That was the first thing you did, he literally came out of the meeting with ITV or off the phone and went straight to the doctor and said 'I need pills.'" Sam will be joining hosts Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers on the ITV spin-off.
While a host of celebs like Coleen Rooney and GK Barry have already jetted off to Australia, Maura Higgins was spotted on a cosy date night with Pete before she bid farewell to the UK. The stunning 33 year old Love Island star has been rumoured to be dating TOWIE's infamous charmer Pete, 36, since last month.
The duo were seen enjoying a romantic night out on Monday, coinciding with the announcement of the I'm A Celeb lineup. They chose the iconic London Palladium theatre as their date spot, where they watched the acclaimed 68 year old Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi perform as part of his current UK tour.
