'I’m a landlord…I ask tenants to TIP me 20% on rent, I don’t care what people say'
"Well, I guess when its time for your lease renewal I'm gonna make sure gratuity is included in your rent."One person wrote: "Gratuity for a landlord doing his legal obligation is frankly absurd and likely illegal.""Gonna tell my landlord he has to tip me 50 per cent for keeping his property safe and secured as bodyguard work is not free and expected," a third joked.
A fourth chimed in: "Well, my barista is probably making minimum wage and possibly struggling to make rent. And a fifth added: "This is absolutely insane. And I say this as a landlord." But the property pundits brushed off the backlash, insisting landlords were also part of the "service industry".However, the duo later said their video was satire after their followers called their renting ethics into question.
