As the speculation around Erik ten Hag's position continues, one Manchester United legend shared their experience about speaking to Thomas Tuchel
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel believes Thomas Tuchel has the grit to succeed at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag appears to have been granted a stay of execution for the time-being after United executives met in London last Tuesday for a crunch meeting. While former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has recently been linked with the club, legendary Treble winner Schmeichel believes Tuchel has the personality and tactical acumen to take over, should Ten Hag depart.
“There's new owners coming in and so many things were happening with Bayern. The same thing, they changed the whole board of directors, they changed the whole leadership of the club. They lasted for one year and that was precisely the year that he was there. Tuchel is currently available having departed Bayern Munich at the end of last season. The German has also been linked with the England job.
