A parent has shared some Christmas presents she's bought her children on a tight budget so far, and people have been left divided over her approach to the festive season
A mum has been defended by the public after online trolls criticised her for spending just £100 on each of her children this Christmas .
Holly, a content creator focusing on parenting, home care and lifestyle on TikTok, shared her budget-friendly Christmas plans: "Christmas on a budget – I am planning to spend around £100 for each child. They usually get one present from Santa and the rest from us." "I think that's quite a nice pile of presents," she concluded. But despite her careful budgeting, the mum was overwhelmed by negative feedback.
In the face of these harsh judgments, viral content creator Trewley-Precious leapt to the defence of the frugal mother "This poor lady is getting so much hate on that video,£ she said. "Firstly if you're out there and you get a Christmas present on Christmas you should be thanking the god and universe that you got a present because there's people that don't."
