EXCLUSIVE: Charlotte Tilbury is one of the world's most sought-after make-up artists and counts some of the world's most famous women as her friends– and we've caught up with her to talk Christmas and confidence
Having spent 12 years in the beauty industry, I've only had the chance to interview Charlotte once before, and I was so starstruck that I barely managed to speak. This time, I'm determined to do better, armed with a list of new questions.
I wonder if it's this sparkle that inspired her Hypnotising Pop Shot Eyeshadows, a favourite among makeup fans, including Kate Moss. Charlotte Tilbury, the makeup maven and queen of glam, spills the tea on her star-studded circle. Her beauty line is her spellbook, and she's all about the magic it brings, transforming lives one lipstick at a time. "People write to me all the time saying they've succeeded at something because my products helped give them the confidence," she reveals. Charlotte's mantra? Arm the world with the right make-up, skincare, and scent, and they're unstoppable.
"A product doesn't launch until I know it is perfect, which can sometimes take years. While others may try to imitate, no one does it like me, darling! " she quips.
