For some young mums, raising two toddlers can be a full-time job, but Layla Harris is also taking on another challenge.35,000 people have expressed an interest in joining the RFS since July last yearThe 25-year-old mum-of-two has joined the Wallaby Joe Rural Fire Service brigade, based out of Wingham, near Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast.

"If you can help, you can help. There's no point sitting at home going 'Oh, I should be out there helping'."
