90s stars Garbage put their Scottish roots at the heart of their TRNSMT set today.
The supergroup kicked off their performance with bagpipers and drummers playing Flower of Scotland, before lead singer Shirley Manson strutted onThe Canadian-Scottish band launched into their hit tune I Would Die For You, which immediately showcased Shirley's as-strong-as-ever vocals, packing an immediate punch into the Glasgow Green crowd.
She added:"You all look so young to me, so I don't know if you know who the f*** we are, but we emerged in the 90s and it's amazing to be here after all that time. This is an amazing scene and we're very grateful to be a part of it."The band took the main stage ahead of headliner Liam Gallagher's set.
