It is the perfect 'fakeaway'
The cost of a takeaway can be staggering, and while I would love to treat myself to a Chinese every week it just isn’t financially possible. So you can imagine my excitement when I came across Iceland’s new Blue Dragon range.
I opted for the hoisin duck pizza for £3.50 and I wasn’t too disappointed with this price tag. Before taking it out of the packaging I could already smell a mixture of ingredients. Admittedly I wasn't a fan of this smell, a combination of different strong scents including garlic and leek.The pizza was quick and easy to make, in the oven for 20 minutes then back out.
The duck was soft and tender which made it almost melt in my mouth. The crusts were thin and crispy which I liked as it allowed more room for me to enjoy the pizza toppings.
