But what I don’t like so much is the price and the time commitment.
The Ardell gel nail starter kit includes gel nail strips, a nail file, a manicure stick for your cuticles and a nail lamp. It costs just £20. The second issue came when I couldn’t get into the gel kit – I was a little worried about using scissors as I didn’t want to accidentally snip into the gel strips – but luckily, that didn’t happen.
I placed the long strip over my nail, smoothing it with my finger over the end of the nail. And when I was satisfied with the smoothness, I filed the end off.But after I'd done a couple, I started to get the knack for it.
