Found wedged in a row of cottages just over an hour's drive from Liverpool is the smallest house in Great Britain.
Not knowing what I was in for, I joined the queue regardless and for the entry price of £1.50, who could blame me? First built in the 16th century, the diminutive home remained in use until just over three decades ago. The tenant was 6ft 3in fisherman Robert James, who struggled to stand up fully and was eventually forced to move out after the council declared the home unfit for human habitation.
