I definitely made the right decision although it was hard
Last weekend, when the rain battered Liverpool, the last thing I wanted to do was leave my toasty bed. I was swayed by the offer of breakfast and promised it'd be worth the travel. I set aside my just awakened grumpiness, grabbed my big coat, and made my way to Liverpool Waters for what I soon discovered is the cosiest spot that side of town.
Unbeknownst to me, my partner had pre-emptively booked a spot at the Liverpool Waters site, eliminating the illusion that I ever had a say in what that Sunday morning's activities would entail. Regardless, I was happy to finally experience Moose for myself. My partner and I were seated in the window to watch struggling passersby deal with the rain. It was bliss. There's no better way to appreciate the winter weather than by wrapping warm and remaining inside with a hot drink. I chose a delicious pumpkin spice hot chocolate that disappeared as quickly as it arrived.
