'I will carry Chris's death with me for my whole life' - Chris Kaba's dad by Eonapa
Chris Kaba was killed by a gunshot wound to the headSpeakers, including Chris Kaba’s parents, MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy, and rapper and author Akala, all shared their collective grief with the community and supporters on Saturday evening.
Chris Kaba’s mother, Helen Lumuanganu, also spoke at the conference, voicing her feelings toward the police. “After Chris had dinner, he told me that he would see his friends, and he never came back. I wonder if my son weren’t black, this wouldn’t have happened to him. I don’t want this to happen to any parent.
Prosper added: “I have quite a lot to say, but I think you can understand my pain, and you can understand what I’ll feel and what I’ll be feeling for the rest of my life.”, who has relentlessly been supporting the Chris Kaba family, said: “The collective grief and trauma we experience as a community suffering knowing how disposable black lives are in this country that energy has to go somewhere.
