Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has clashed with Vivek Ramaswamy on how to end the Russo-Ukraine war after the Republican presidential candidate suggested a “deal” he would offer Vladimir Putin.

The business entrepreneur and Presidential hopeful floated a “deal” he would offer the Russian President to end the bloody conflict.

Mr Ramaswamy said if the deal is agreed upon, the US would “freeze the current lines of control”, arguing the territories President Putin has invaded are Russian-speaking regions. “What? You would literally give Putin what he has stolen?” the visibly surprised Sky News Australia host questioned Mr Ramaswamy.“Piers, I’m not going to give him anything, I’ll give him a deal,” the Ohio businessman replied. Mr Ramaswamy also disputed Mr Morgan’s characterisation of Ukraine as a “democratic” country and argued that the Russian-speaking regions occupied by Russia since 2014 had not been represented in the Ukrainian parliament in nine years.
