The latest Manchester United transfer news as Paul Pogba urged to re-join his former club as Juventus exit and football return loom.
Manchester United have been pushed to sign Paul Pogba , once again, as the midfielder prepares for a return to football. It's four months until the 31-year-old will be eligible for selection in competitive games, but at first there are questions over his future to solve.
"Paul Pogba can go wherever he wants," the ex-France, Everton and Fulham man told bookmakers Paddy Power. "I would love to see him at United because, when you look at their midfield, they've lost Scott McTominay - which is a loss because he contributed to the team well. When you look at how things went with previous managers and try to understand what happened you see there were mistakes made - and letting Pogba go was a sign that things are difficult to manage at Manchester United.
Money is expected to be at a premium for the new-look hierarchy, though. Due to the threat of punishment from the Premier League amid financial caution, United are towing a fine line. That position has been exaggerated more by the near £10million that it cost to buy Amorim out of his Sporting contract.
