Former police officer reveals moment Ian Huntley asked 'how long does DNA evidence last?' days before he was arrested for Soham murders
Sharon Gilbert, a former Special Constable with Cambridgeshire Police, investigated the disappearance of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells in 2002.
She was parked outside Soham college when Ian Huntley approached her. He asked her 'how long does DNA evidence last?' and joked 'I'll have to kill you'. Days later he was arrested for murder, and is currently serving a life sentence
