Home Secretary is facing criticism over her commentary on Gaza marches
Ian Paisley has weighed in to the Suella Braverman row defending the Home Secretary ’s comments and slating what he called “pant wetting” over the controversy.
There has been further criticism of Mrs Braverman after she said that “disturbingly reminiscent of Ulster” was, her claim, that there are “reports that some of Saturday’s march group organisers have links to terrorist groups including Hamas”. That claim appeared in an article in the Times.SDLP leader Colum Eastwood has called for the removal of Mrs Braverman from her position as he branded the comments as “aggressive ignorance”.
He then said the “hand wringing hypocrisy and the pant wetting that we’re seeing over someone criticising the police, correctly, is amazing”.
