Lostprophets paedophile Ian Watkins 'fighting for life' after being 'stabbed and beaten in jail hostage ordeal'
Paedophile Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed and beaten in jail.It's understood the 46-year-old - said to share a wing with murderers, killers and rapists - was set upon at HMP Wakefield, West Yorkshire, where he is serving a 29-year sentence for multiple sex crimes.
Witnesses said paramedics worked to save his life in an ambulance outside the jail. A Prison Service spokesperson said: “Police are investigating an incident which took place on Saturday at HMP Wakefield. He spoke of his desire to “cross the line” and to intoxicate one young victim by blowing crystal meth smoke into their face. A sickening 17-minute video also showed Watkins performing a sex act on a child in a London hotel room.
He added Watkins posed a significant risk to the public in particular to women with young children. Watkins also admitted conspiring to rape a child and three counts of sexual assault involving children.
