'I was a little bit disappointed with him. He was scared.'
Jakub Kiwior struggled to deal with Leroy Sane Ian Wright admits he was ‘disappointed’ with Jakub Kiwior after the Arsenal star struggled to cope against Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane. Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Bayern in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night. Though the Gunners were the better side overall, they struggled to deal with the visitors’ speed and trickery, with blistering counter-attacks leading to both of their goals.
Sane won the penalty which lead to Bayern Munich’s second goal against Arsenal ‘Act like you’re going to get tight then drop off, let him get the touch so then he’s either going to have to knock it past you and you’ve got half a chance of getting something on it… or f***ing foul him!’ Despite his brilliant performance, Sane was subbed off after 66 minutes and replaced by Kingsley Coman, a decision that left the Germany international ‘disappointed’.
