Hagi hinted he wants to leave Rangers permanently but he was certainly feeling the love in Bucharest on Friday night.
Buzzing Ianis Hagi thanked some travelling Rangers for singing his name after Romania hosted Northern Ireland on Friday night,
And their enthusiasm ramped up a gear when a smiling Hagi came over to shake some hands. Footage shared by a fan on social media showed a small band of travelling supporters singing a one-time Ibrox terrace anthem to the tune of Abba's Super Trouper. And as the words 'Tavernier, Hagi, Kemar Roofe and Bassey,' rang out, Hagi was seen approaching the fans in the corner with a smile on his face.
He said: "I feel that it is the league in which I can be most successful and in which I can bring out all my qualities and it is the league that I have followed since I was a child and it was always my dream to be here. I'm here now and I want to be here for a long time."
