Licences allowing an ice rink to operate at the shopping centre have been approved by Glasgow councillors.
Licensing chiefs in Glasgow have approved plans for an ice rink to be installed on a car park at the centre.
Audrey Junner, the licensing lawyer representing BM Promotional Leisure, said: “It is the first time that an ice rink has actually been planned for Silverburn at Christmas.She said her clients were “very, very experienced in this area”. They run ice rinks in other cities, including London, Manchester and Sheffield.
