. It is a powerful image of Glasgow by an artist with strong links to the city and belongs in a public collection where Glaswegians and visitors can enjoy it.
The addition of the artwork was made possible through the support of The National Fund for Acquisitions, administered with Scottish Government funding by National Museums Scotland. He was a poet, author, playwright and printmaker as well as an artist, and died in 2019 in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital due to a short illness.
