Based on a novel by Gregory Maguire, the 2003 Broadway musical Wicked told the backstory of the Wicked Witch Of The West from The Wizard Of Oz. The movie is set to arrive in theatres on November 22, 2024 for Wicked: Part One, and November 26, 2025 for Wicked: Part Two.The couple fell in love while starring in Broadway's Rent as Maureen Johnson and Benjamin 'Benny' Coffin III back in 1995. They later reprised their roles for the 2005 film adaptation of the musical.
