Ahead of her performance in London for Pride, Idina revealed fond memories that she has from spending time in the city, recalling how on a few occasions she went up on stage to perform at the clubs Heaven and G-A-Y during surprise 1am appearances.
‘I stood on the stage in front of thousands of people pressed against the stage, with this incredible, magnetic energy, all of us singing, crying, laughing, reminiscing and there’s never been anything quite like it,’ she recollected.‘So when I was thinking about what kind of album I really wanted to make, I knew that I wanted to make the kind of music that I could keep bringing back to those kinds of venues and celebrate and have fun and get people dancing.
