Liverpool moved top of the Premier League table after two Mohamed Salah goals saw off Everton at Anfield
Virgil van Dijk has admitted he has noticed a "different energy" about Liverpool after a summer of change at the club.
These changes have paid off for Jurgen Klopp who, like his midfield, appears to be rejuvenated after what was a challenging campaign for Liverpool after ending the year in fifth and without silverware. "There has been an transition, of course, also in the way we play, different players with different qualities and trying to adapt," said the Dutch defender. "It's working quite well. Everyone is pushing each other and playing at a high level. That's the key to success, hopefully this season.
"We had a short break in the summer and then we came back and everyone felt great. It went well and we sense a different vibe and energy in the club."
