The daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar is crying homelessness and hunger after being removed from her Barnard College dorm following her participation in anti-Israel protests last week.
“I was a little bit frantic, like, where am I going to sleep?” Hirsi said in a recent interview. “Where am I gonna go?”
Hirsi was suspended from her dorm and the college’s dining facilities for “standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide,” she said. Barnard officials warned students of possible suspension on Wednesday, and after being released from detainment, Hirsi asked the school for assistance but got none, the report noted.
