CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO, La Union — Operatives from the different units of the Police Regional Office Region 1 arrested 230 wanted persons and 92 drug suspects during a nationwide implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations on January 23-29, 2023.
On the nationwide SACLEO on service of a warrant of arrest, 230 wanted persons were arrested. Based on the record, Pangasinan recorded the highest number of arrests with 139, Ilocos Norte 42, La Union 35, and Ilocos Sur 14. A total of 85 operations on illegal drugs were conducted that resulted in the arrest of 92 drug personalities, including 73 in Pangasinan, nine in La Union, six in Ilocos Norte, and two in Ilocos Sur.
