HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR ALL SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY UNTIL 8 PM FRIDAY. Today is an Impact Day because of the intense high humidity and heat pushing feels-like temperatures to 98-102º this afternoon. Use extra caution, take breaks from the intense heat. Dew points peak in the mid 70s and highs will reach the mid 90s. That's incredibly humid air even by summer standards! A few thunderstorms will be around in the afternoon and evening.
Saturday will also be quite humid, before a cold front passes midday. Highs will reach the low 90s, and isolated thunderstorms are possible. Best chance for these storms are east of the Susquehanna River. It will still be hot Sunday, but you'll feel some relief from the high humidity. Dew points will fall to the low-to-mid 60s. Temperatures still peak in the lower 90s. Next week, temperatures will hover between the upper 80s and low 90s.
