It is one of Manchester's more unsual venues. Tucked away down a flight of stairs in the University of Manchester's Student Union.

Rice walks out in an un-matching suit, shades and with a towel draped over the top of his head looking as cool as he does bizarre.
They are echoes of the punk legends Half Man Half Biscuit in the way they celebrate the everyday. "I’m in love, with a Subaru Impreza. Immaculate leather and chrome" Rice sings in the first single from their recently announced, but not yet released, third album Boys These Days. The track's swooning saxophone slows the temp down a touch.
After the encore is Here's The Thing, the track which shot them to fame, and which it is not an overstatement to say is a work of genius.
