Hundreds take part in Omagh Pride to mark the first of Northern Ireland's pride celebrations - in picturesHundreds of people took part and lined the streets of a Co Tyrone town for the first of Northern Ireland's Pride celebrations for 2014.took place on Saturday, June 22, starting with a parade leaving Main Street at 2pm before making its way to Omagh Courthouse via Market Street and Bridge Street and finishing back at the car park.
A small protest took place during the event, with protestors holding placards with religious messages, while one man held a sign reading: “Free Enoch Burke."taking place in Northern Ireland. Belfast Pride is due to take place on July 27, with Causeway on August 3, Fermanagh on August 6-7, Foyle on August 24, and Trans Pride NI in Belfast on September 14.
