Hunter Biden wants to plead guilty to tax charges, his attorneys announced on Thursday — just as his tax trial was set to kick off.

Scarsi called a two-hour break since the two sides hadn’t discussed the possible change of plea to give the parties a chance to look at the law and talk it over. President Biden has previously said that he will not pardon his son, but that was before he withdrew from the presidential race. It's unclear whether his earlier statement still stands now that he's no longer running for office.
