The parents of eight-month-old Indi Gregory made an application to the European Court of Human Rights.

Indi's parents Dean Gregory and Claire Staniforth - from Ilkeston in Derbyshire - are being supported by the Christian Legal Centre which said, on Thursday, an application to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, had been been rejected. A CLC spokesman said Indi's parents initially wanted a European judge to "prohibit" the withdrawal of "life-sustaining treatment" until the ECHR had considered the case.After Monday's hearing, father Dean Gregory said "we will continue to fight for Indi"
Earlier, in a statement, Mr Gregory added: "As parents we believe it is our duty to do everything we can to protect our child."We now hope and pray that the ECHR takes forward the case."Medics at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre have said they can do no more for Indi. Barrister Emma Sutton KC, who led Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust's legal team, previously said the treatment Indi received caused pain and was futile.
